At Clémence Prosen Art & Design, we are committed to operating in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner. We recognize the importance of minimizing our environmental footprint and contributing positively to the communities we serve. Our sustainability policy encompasses the following key principles:

• Environmental Responsibility: We prioritize the use of eco-friendly materials and processes in our products and operations. This includes sourcing sustainable materials for our artworks and packaging, minimizing waste generation, and reducing energy consumption wherever possible. We do not use solvents when we are painting in oils, which is unusual in oil painting, but this was important for us not to generate waste with solvents. We source fine art paper that uses FSC-certified pulp and is certified through the Fine Art Trade Guild.

• Local Sourcing: We strive to support local suppliers and artisans whenever feasible. By sourcing materials and collaborating with local partners, we reduce transportation emissions and contribute to the economic development of our communities. 95% of our suppliers are based in Ireland and the rest of our suppliers are EU-based.

• Reducing Waste: We are committed to reducing waste at every stage of our operations. Every packaging, box received at our premises is reused to ship to our customers and stockists.

• Carbon Neutrality: We are using shipping companies that are using green energy like An Post. In the last 3 years, our travels have been significantly reduced by privileging online meetings and taking the trains as much as possible.​

• Community Engagement: We believe in giving back to the communities that support us. In 2022 and 2023, we organized raffles that raised money for the Curie Institute, which works on cancer research. We have also donated many goods and products to the Balbriggan Cancer Support Group and Friends of Autism and ADHD.

• Continuous Improvement: We are committed to ongoing improvement in our sustainability practices. Our 2024 goal is to move to compostable presentation bags for our prints.
